# Use board view to track progress

Board view shows tasks as cards in columns, so you can see where work stands at
a glance.


SWITCH TO BOARD VIEW

Open a project and click the Board tab at the top.


WORK WITH COLUMNS

 * Add a column: click + Add column at the far right.
 * Rename: double-click the column title.
 * Reorder: drag a column by its header.
 * Set a WIP limit: open the column menu (⋯) and choose Set limit. The column
   turns red when it's over the limit.


MOVE TASKS

Drag a card between columns to change its status. Moving a card into the last
column marks the task complete.
